Back in 1996 George Favaloro and Sean O'Sullivan were describing the future of the internet, labeling it "cloud computing-enabled applications". Fast forward 15 years, and cloud is ubiquitous, yet often equated to a public utility. So, does cloud matter? Can it produce strategic business value? How can we measure it?
