Workshop: Application Services Contract Negotiation Clinic

The workshop will cover the different ways you might engage with application service providers (aka staff augmentation, application outsourcing, project based). It will take you on a journey of the pro’s and con’s of each; how to prepare for the negotiation exercise; and assist you identify key contractual clauses and schedules, including price basis, you may need to negotiate for each. Depending on your preferred scenario, this might include service level agreements for application management services or statements of work for project work. One key take away will be looking at how you build natural forms of leverage over the application service provider to ensure they deliver consistently good quality of services and that key deliverables are near on time and budget. Impact of agile on your approach will be discussed also.
