Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit

Ant Allan, Ph.D., is a research vice president in Gartner Research. He is a core member of the identity and access management (IAM) research community and specializes in IAM program management and in key "authentication" and related "administration" technologies, processes and best practices.

Julian Ashbourn is renowned for his pioneering work in the field of biometrics and identity management and has introduced several important concepts in this area including the User Psychology Index, the Biometric Operability Index, the APEX performance equivalence model and more. He has authored three books on the subject and originated the research into human factors in relation to the use of biometric technology. Ashbourn has additionally undertaken much voluntary work with respect to the use of technology in society and has spoken at conferences and symposiums around the world in this context as well as liaising with government agencies, academia and the corporate world. There are several seminal papers accredited to Ashbourn, including those authored on behalf of the European Commission, and he is currently working on a new book which will focus upon the use of biometric technology in large scale applications. This work will be truly unique in bringing together several pertinent strands and introducing some important new ideas (see www.animus.1to1.org ). Ashbourn has many other interests, including the Earth Sciences and has recently introduced a non-profit initiative for schools in order to introduce an enhanced focus upon the sciences for young students everywhere.

Caspar Atkinson joined BSkyB in 2008 and is currently the Director of Online Product Capabilities. Sitting as part of Sky’s broader product team, Caspar is responsible for the planning and delivery of “enabling services” that are used by multiple products and websites. These include Sky's online customer identity platform (Sky iD), Online Payments, Search, Recommendations and Sky's online TV services. Prior to joining Sky, Caspar was a Senior Manager at Accenture; specialising in Identity and Access Management strategy and architecture within the Communication and Media sector.

Tim Bedard has over 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) software product management and strategy. Tim’s role at RSA includes leading the product management team helping to define customer requirements and bringing to market new IAM solutions both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Prior to joining RSA, Tim held a variety of management positions at CA Technologies.

Bob Blakley is VP, distinguished analyst and agenda manager for Gartner IT1 Identity and Privacy.

Mickey Boodaei is the CEO and founder of Trusteer, a leading provider of cybercrime prevention solutions that protect organizations against financial fraud and data breaches. Leading organizations such as HSBC, Santander, The Royal Bank of Scotland, SunTrust and Fifth Third are among Trusteer’s clients. Mr. Boodaei is also a co-founder and board member at Imperva (NASDAQ: IMPV), a pioneer and leader of a new category of data security solutions for high-value business data in the data center. Mr. Boodaei has over 20 years of experience in enterprise security and fraud prevention and holds an MBA and B.Sc. in Computer Engineering.

As CIO for Prudential UK/Europe, Simon is responsible for driving major company-wide business initiatives, most recently transforming Prudential UK’s IT group into a delivery-focused strategic partner of choice through the development, adoption and delivery of a business-focused IT strategy. Simon brings more than 20 years of experience to his present position, most notably with international blue chip companies, financial services and retail. Previous to Prudential/UK Europe, he worked as Head of IT Solutions for Marks and Spencer, building a high performance IT Technology Solutions team, developing and implementing solutions and systems for a number of commercial initiatives and creating stronger partnerships between business and IT teams.

Perry Carpenter is a research director in the secure business enablement group, which is part of the Information Security and Privacy research organization of Gartner Research. His primary focus is on identity and access management (IAM), data privacy, and the information security organization.

As the global head of Security Operations for one of the Netherland's largest banks, Cornelissen is responsible for providing strategic Security Operations solutions and services to the Rabobank International Wholesale and International Retail and Rural Business, and oversees a team to ensure these global solutions are delivered in a well-controlled, timely and cost effective manner. He has extensive experience in IT risk and security management. Prior to joining Rabobank International, Cornelissen held senior IT and security positions at HBOS Plc. (Lloyds Banking Group), Clerical Medical Financial Services B.V., Vodafone and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Asset Management.

Mark Fullbrook is UK and Ireland Director at Cyber-Ark Software. He is responsible for overseeing sales and partnerships in his area, as well as growing the business. Having worked in all aspects of the IT industry from resellers to distributors, large global vendors to cutting edge technology start-ups, Mark has extensive and wide-ranging experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Cyber-Ark in 2007, Mark worked at BigFix Inc as the EMEA channel director, equip Technology, Nortel Networks, KeyBridge Corporation, 3Com and US Robotics. Mark is a regular speaker at major security events.

Ramsés is a +15 year security professional with deep expertise in the Risk Management and Governance areas and he is Security Strategist & Evangelist for Quest Software. Before, he had management positions at CA Technologies and SurfControl, and just recently was Chief Strategy Officer at Entelgy. Ramsés has been serving for three years in ISACA’s CISM and CGEIT Certification Committees and is honored to have been the Chair for ISACA’s ISRM Conference, is now Research Director at the Barcelona Chapter and part of the Program Committee for the events SecureCloud 2010 and 2012. He is serving in the Guidance & Practices Committee for third year and is a CISM, CGEIT,CISSP, ITIL and COBIT Foundations certified professional. Ramsés holds the Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation and is the proud owner of Stanford’s SCPM accreditation, being one of the first experts with the Cloud’s CCSK as well. An internationally recognized public speaker (has presented in + 28 cities in + 20 countries in 2011), has been awarded 'Best Speaker' many times and is proud of having been nominated for ISACA's Board of Directors.

Jules JEROME is deputy-director at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and is the head of Investigations and Branch Audit line. Since 2000, he is also in charge of the Access Management team of the bank. In 2007, he lead a provisioning project; 2/3 of the access requests are now process automatically. In 2008, he was also the leader of an IAM project. He has also a strong interest for fraud prevention tools

Gregg Kreizman is a research director on Gartner's Information Security and Privacy team. Mr. Kreizman covers single sign-on, password management, identity federation, user-centric identity, electronic signature, public-key infrastructure and general identity and access management topics.

David Lello is a contractor in Gartner Global Operations.

Adam Lewis has been working in the NHS Technology Office in the central Identity and Access Management Team since 2008 and is now responsible for delivering next-generation Identity and Access Management services to the unique environment of the NHS. Spanning hundreds of organisations and over a million users, the NHS is one of the largest civilian employers in the world. Prior to this Adam worked for seven years in a security consultancy delivering Identity Management solutions to a broad range of clients across multiple platforms including Microsoft, Sun, Oracle and BMC.

Avivah Litan is a vice president and distinguished analyst in Gartner Research. Her area of expertise includes fraud detection and prevention applications, authentication, adaptive access management, identity proofing, identity theft, and other areas of information security and risk. She also covers the PCI compliance program and the security aspects of payment systems.

Mark Nicolett is a vice president in Gartner Research. His research in the security, risk and compliance area focuses on security information and event management, database activity monitoring, vulnerability management, configuration audit, and IT governance risk and compliance management.

Earl Perkins is a research vice president in the Security and Privacy team at Gartner. His focus areas include: (1) identity and access management (IAM), including user provisioning, identity and access governance (IAG), and entitlement management; (2) IAM services, including consulting, integration, managed services, and IAM in cloud computing; (3) IAM strategy, markets and futures; and (4) IT and operational technology (OT) security.

Lori Rowland is vice president and service director for the identity and privacy strategies team in the IT Professionals Research group at Gartner.

Tom Ryan is a Senior Director responsible for programs and projects around Transition and Transformation for the global Common Infrastructure Service Line (CISL) at Sanofi. CISL’s scope includes all transverse global infrastructure services. Ryan has been with Sanofi since 1996. In previous roles, he has been responsible for several diverse functions in Sanofi’s US Pharmaceutical Operations organization including: the Project Management Office, IS Quality, Client Architecture and Major Programs. Ryan’s current projects include developing a new service called Access from Anywhere for both internal and external clients.

Tom Scholtz is a research vice president in Gartner, where he advises clients on security management strategies, technologies, and trends, and is an acknowledged authority on information security policy design, security organizational dynamics, and security management processes. Based in the United Kingdom, Mr. Scholtz is a regular presenter at European industry events.

Iain is the UK practice lead for the Fraud Red Team® at Greenway Solutions LLC, which is an external fraud penetration testing methodology which uses actual attack vectors to test bank controls. He has over seven years experience of counter eCrime work, having previously been a manager in the Royal Bank of Scotland’s eCrime Prevention Team. He has worked with banks in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada on their counter fraud strategies from both technical and financial perspectives as well as being active with organisations such as the Anti-Phishing Working Group.

Henk is responsible for Security Sales in Europe. He is an information security professional with over 24 years’ experience in IT sales and services. He joined CA Technologies’ IT Security team in September 2010 to help the organization extend its growth in the identity and access management sector across distributed, virtual, and cloud environments. Henk has an illustrious history of producing results through new sales and business development both in the Netherlands and across Europe. Henk’s appointment represents a real coup for CA Technologies. To attract a technology expert of such skill and experience to head European Security Sales is a testament to CA Technologies’ reputation.

Ray Wagner, Ph.D., is managing vice president of the secure business enablement group, which is part of the Information Security and Privacy research organization of Gartner Research. Mr. Wagner focuses on a wide range of security issues, including identity and access management, Web services security, public-key infrastructures, digital rights management, the information security organization, and information security issues within emerging technologies.

Andrew Walls is a research director in Gartner Research, where he specializes in information security practices, tools and markets in social media, enterprise governance, awareness/communications, directories, investigations and security program management. Security practices and markets in the Asia/Pacific region are also a focus of his research agenda.

Robin Wilton is a research director with a particular interest in digital identity and privacy (and their relationship to public policy), access control and single sign-on, and capitalizing on public key infrastructures.
