HOTEL & ACCOMMODATION

Gartner has reserved room blocks at hotels in close proximity to the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. Attendees will need to register for Symposium/ ITxpo before booking their hotel. Once you have registered online the full hotel details, room types and pricing will be available in order for you to select and book your hotel. A credit card will be required to secure your booking.

If you have already registered for Symposium/ITxpo, you can go back into your booking and make your hotel selection at any time. The Gartner discounted rates can only be booked via the website or through the Gartner Hotel Team.

Room blocks will be released in September so please book your hotel accommodation by 23 September 2013.

TRAVEL

By Air

The Gold Coast has its own domestic airport at Coolangatta, just 20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre with regular flights from all capital cities. Services are provided domestically by three airlines, Virgin Blue, Tiger and Jetstar, and internationally through multiple Airlines. Brisbane International Airport is located just a one hour drive from Broadbeach.

Taxi's are available throughout the Gold Coast and operate on a metered system. The approximate cost from the Gold Coast Coolangatta Airport to the Gold Coast Convention Centre is AUD$55, the approximate cost from the Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast Convention Centre is AUD$290.

By Rail

Train services require a coach, shuttle or vehicle transfer. Interstate trains terminate in Brisbane at the Roma Street Transit Terminal 60 minutes north of Surfers Paradise. Trains traveling from Sydney terminate in Mulwillumbah 30 minutes south of Surfers Paradise. The City Train runs regularly from Brisbane with stops at Coomera, Helensvale, Nerang and Robina.
