Andreas Bitterer is a research vice president in Gartner, where he specializes in business intelligence, data integration and data quality, with expertise in open-source and mobile BI, location intelligence, and BI governance.

Carl Claunch leads Gartner research into high-performance computing, providing advice and insights to users, buyers, technology providers and investors. He focuses on a broad range of timeframes, from current trends and practices to long-range technologies and transformations a decade or two in the future. Mr. Claunch's other responsibilities include forward-looking research into technologies and trends for the general server space, to help identify discontinuities and transitions in order to advise clients on ways to benefit and strategies to mitigate impacts from those changes. Shobhaa De is the best selling author of 17 books, and a highly respected columnist known for her outspoken, frank and fearless views on current issues. She is regarded as an authority on popular culture and is recognised as a key social commentator and opinion shaper whose controversial views are frequently quoted in national and international fora. She is an avid blogger and an active tweeter.

David Furlonger is a VP and Gartner Fellow. He leads the worldwide research agenda for the banking and investment services industry. His specific research focus is the Bank of the Future, including industry structure, trends and directions, IT and business strategy, customer experience and innovation; capital markets and treasury and trading, including core trading systems; and risk management and regulatory compliance. Mr. Furlonger is also charged with developing research on the Future of Money to investigate new forms of money and technologies connected to its use, across multiple industries.

Milind Govekar is a managing vice president with Gartner Research. In addition to leading a global research team, his research focus is on cloud management platforms, IT financial management technology, workload automation, performance and capacity management, and IT service management. Jeff Haner is a Principal Research Analyst at Gartner in the Insurance Industry Advisory Services. His coverage is in the property and casualty segment of insurance. His research is focused on core systems: primarily policy administration, claims administration and related systems.

Kimberly Harris-Ferrante is a vice president and distinguished analyst in Gartner Research, where she is responsible for monitoring the business and technology trends within the property and casualty and life insurance industries. She specializes in strategies and technologies in the global insurance sector for distribution, customer relationship management, exception-based underwriting, policy administration, claims management and administration, business process management, business intelligence, and infrastructure management and optimization. Chris Howard is a Chief of Research for Gartner's Enterprise Software group. Mr. Howard also leads the Nexus of Forces research agenda, which is a major Gartner theme for 2013.

Partha Iyengar is VP and distinguished analyst in Gartner's "CIO Research - Service and Operational Technology Management" team. He is also the Country Manager - Research, India, with responsibility for managing the India research agenda. His research interests cover areas of strategic interest to CIOs and their direct reports, including service management and sourcing issues, and the newly emerging areas of IT-OT integration management. In addition he covers the areas of business and IT strategy, business value of IT, IT measurement (ITScore), CIO leadership issues and the changing role of the CIO in a globalized world. He also researches India and China issues in terms of the business, technology and innovation impact these countries have on the global marketplace, and also on how global enterprises can succeed with their IT and business initiatives in these markets. His recent reports have focused on "On Demand: From Capacity to Capability," "The Entrepreneurial CIO" and "Managing Strategic Partners." Mr. Iyengar is a frequent and sought-after speaker and presenter at numerous Gartner and external forums, as well as for various government organizations in India, China and other countries. Sanish KB is a research analyst in Gartner's Data Center Infrastructure and Management team and is based in Bangalore, India. Dr. M.A. Ketabchi Chief Strategist, Office of the CTO, Progress Software and Founder Savvion. Dr. M.A. Ketabchi founded Savvion in 1994. Under his leadership, Savvion launched the first business process management (BPM) product in 1999. Over the past 15 years, Ketabchi has been engaged with many Savvion customers and partners, helping them improve their business through BPM and BPM-enabled solutions. Dr. Ketabchi is well known for his pioneering research in business process management technologies and methods; process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions; object-oriented database management systems; and application development technologies. Over the last 20 years he has published and presented extensively in these areas and has made significant contributions to advancing the state of the art and technologies in BPM and process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions. Ketabchi received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Rakesh Kumar is a vice president in Gartner Research, where he specializes in enterprise infrastructure and operations strategies. With more than 23 years of international experience, Mr. Kumar is a recognized leader in data center architectures, infrastructure, high availability and operational processes. Mr. Kumar is also leading the research in data center power and cooling issues and is an established international authority in environmental and "green" IT strategies. He has worked with the European Union and various governments around the world on energy-related technology issues. Mr. Kumar has spent considerable time in India working with many companies and government departments. He is one of the world's foremost experts on the development of core IT infrastructure in India.

Hung LeHong is a research vice president on the Executive Leadership and Innovation research team at Gartner. He focuses on senior executives and CIOs to help them anticipate changes to business models and consumer trends caused by technology disruptions. Mr. LeHong helps executives understand what's coming in the next three years or beyond so they can innovate today, to improve their position or effectiveness in the future. His latest research is in the areas of emerging trends, innovation, mobile commerce, the internet of things, and advanced analytics.

Debra Logan is a vice president and distinguished analyst in Gartner Research. She covers information governance, e-discovery, legacy information management and strategic information management, along with new and emerging roles in the digital economy. She is currently working on topics including information archiving, information retention management, strategic information management and e-discovery market trends.

Jorge Lopez is a vice president and distinguished analyst based in the United States, where he focuses on issues of concern to business executives, especially the CEO, and their relationship to IT and the CIO. His research includes CEO concerns, global industry scenarios, strategic change, and cost optimization. He has produced research that includes how CEOs view their challenges and what IT should do about them, radical IT cost cutting, how to overcome IT as a constraint to business change, how to reduce the risk of IT, and how to improve the business strategic value and alignment of IT. In addition, he works with key IT vendors and services providers to improve the effectiveness of their business strategy and value to their customers.

Biswajeet Mahapatra, a Research Director in the IT Systems Security and Risk group, has a career spanning more than 18 years in many large IT organizations across the globe. Mr. Mahapatra works closely with CIOs across the globe to assist them in defining their IT strategy, deriving metrics to help measure ROI in IT investments and to help charter future direction for maximizing returns in IT. He also works closely with IT vendors to help them understand the market, define a robust product road map, and effectively launch their products. With special focus on upcoming technologies like cloud, Mr. Mahapatra has been heavily quoted in both national and international media. Mr. Mahapatra is an advisor to many governments across the globe for forming their cloud strategy, helping them formulate data privacy and protection policy/laws.

Paolo Malinverno covers a broad set of application governance areas, with special attention to the organizational issues they come with (such as SOA governance and API management, justifying and measuring the value of SOA projects, SOA centers of excellence, and integration competency centers). Mr. Malinverno also covers with a European perspective a wide variety of cloud trends and multienterprise B2B issues, including cloud services brokerages, integration brokerages, e-invoicing, B2B integration outsourcing, and application integration in the cloud.

Ken McGee is a VP and one of only 14 Research Fellows at Gartner. Mr. McGee has extensive experience helping clients deal with IT budgets, IT cost-saving efforts, and other financial and business-related matters pertaining to IT. He also focuses on issues challenging CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives in order to help clients determine the information and information technology solutions these leaders require to perform their jobs optimally. Naveen Mishra is a Research Director with the data center research team at Gartner. He is the conference chair of the Data Center Summit in India and a regular speaker at Gartner events in the Asia/Pacific region and the Middle East, such as Symposium, Predicts and the Data Center Summit. Mr. Mishra is often consulted on the broad IT trends and their impact on the Indian landscape. He is often consulted by CIOs and IT leaders on a variety of technology issues, such as cloud, virtualization, IT infrastructure strategy, data center and server technologies. IT vendors also seek his advice while crafting their growth strategies for Asia/Pacific.

Kristin Moyer is a Research Vice President in Industry Advisory Services/Banking and Investment Services. She has more than 20 years of IT experience in a variety of roles. Ms. Moyer's research coverage includes apps, open banking strategies (public Web APIs, SDKs, developer communities and app stores), emerging trends and technologies, and card management software. She is the Agenda Manager for Banking and Investment Services. Ms. Moyer joined Gartner in 1999 and is based in Denver, Colorado, in the U.S.

Aman Munglani is research director with Gartner's Data Center Infrastructure and Management group. Based in New Delhi, his major areas of coverage include storage systems, cloud computing, virtualization and Big Data. He spends a significant amount of his time advising CIOs and IT managers across Asia/Pacific on a variety of storage technology-related issues such as storage strategies and road maps, product comparisons, technical evaluations of storage solutions and pricing. Senior Vice President with Wipro Technologies and Heads Wipro's Managed Services business in the recently consolidated Global Infrastructure Services business (GIS). Achuthan is a veteran with 24 years of IT industry experience. He has been in Wipro for the last 21 years and has done various roles in the company across global markets as well as the domestic markets. Over the last two decades he has been a part of our BFSI vertical, Infrastructure management business as well as a stint in the HR function. In his current role, he is responsible for Wipro's P&L in the managed services business globally. The team addresses the Infrastructure management requirements of customers across verticals and is one of the strongest service lines in Wipro. With more than 20000 employees and contractors in the team, it is also one of our larger service line groups. Sunil Padmanabh is a Research Director with Gartner's Business Applications team. Naresh Singh is a Principal Research Analyst in Gartner Research, where he is a key member of the Data Center Research group. Bhavish Sood is a research director with Gartner's Technology and Service Provider Research. Mr. Sood covers analytical applications worldwide and database management system markets, business intelligence and data management for the Asia/Pacific region. Additionally, Mr. Sood is researching how business applications and business intelligence software are being consumed on smartphones and media tablets.

Vishal Tripathi is a Principal Analyst with Gartner's Global Consumer Tech and Markets team. Mr. Tripathi primarily focuses on enterprise mobility, desktop virtualization, bring your own device (BYOD), mobile device management (MDM) and client computing. He also analyzes consumer dynamics and trends. Dale Vecchio is a Research Vice President in Gartner Research, where he works in the application development area of the Research Advisory Service. Mr. Vecchio specializes in strategies and technologies for the modernization of legacy systems. Application modernization approaches include service-oriented architecture (SOA), code transformation, rehosting and database migration. He helps organizations implement application modernization decisions, including platform migrations (particularly mainframes), application reimplementation and transition to packaged solutions. Tools and processes to improve maintenance and support of legacy systems are also part of his coverage area.

Lee Weldon is a research director with Gartner's Office of the CIO research team. Prior to joining Gartner, Lee held various IT leadership roles in a large multinational organization, including creating and managing the global CIO Office, developing the IT strategy, and leading the portfolio management and IT governance processes.
