Registration/Pricing

How do I register?

You can register by clicking on the Register Now button on the right or by calling +1 866 405 2511.

What methods can I use to pay?

You may pay with Gartner event tickets, credit card or invoice with PO number. A payment must be made prior to the event or payment will need to be collected upon entrance to the event.

What is the cost to attend?

Standard registration is $4,095 or $3,595 prior to August 9, 2013. Public Sector registration price is $2,995. Gartner clients may contact their account manager for special pricing options or may use conference tickets as a form of payment.

What is the cost for an ITxpo Only Pass?

$295

Is there a bulk discount for large groups?

A team package is available for groups, depending on size. Click here to learn more about the Team Send packages.

What is included in the full registration price?

Registration fee includes conference attendance, Symposium On Demand access, documentation, a special evening event, breakfast and lunch (Monday through Thursday), ITxpo receptions and a post-event summary report.

What is included in the ITxpo pass?

Access to the exhibit floor, evening receptions on the exhibit floor, the keynote sessions, solution provider sessions, ITxpo theaters, the Emerging Technologies Pavilion and learning labs.

Cancellation/Substitution

What happens if I need to cancel?

Registrations may be refunded or a ticket reactivated, if the cancellation is made in writing to us.registration@gartner.com up to 15 business days prior to the start of the event. Cancellations received within 15 business days of an event or nonattendance will not be refunded and/or tickets will not be reactivated.

What is the 15 day business day mark?

Cancellations prior to Friday, September 20, 2013, 5 p.m. EST will be refunded. Cancellations after this time will be charged the full registration fee.

Can an attendee substitute a colleague to avoid losing their registration fee/ticket?

Substitution of registrations may be made at any time up to the start of the conference. Sharing of attendee passes is not permitted. The attendee will need to contact registration to provide the name of the colleague taking their place. They may call 1 866 405 2511 to make this change.

How do I book my hotel reservations?

Are there special hotel rates for Government attendees?

Please contact the hotel of your choice to ask about special government organization rates.

Can I bring a guest to any parts of the event?

There is a companion program available at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2013. The cost is $450 for each adult (21 years and over), which includes breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday in the attendee food tents, access to the ITxpo event floor Monday through Thursday, as well as access to the special evening event. The cost is $150 for guests who'd like to bring a companion only to Tuesday evening's special event. Registration for the program may be made pre-event by calling 1 866 405 2511 or on-site.

What is the special evening event?

The special evening event takes place at a Disney theme park on Tuesday, October 8. It is required to take transportation from Gartner Symposium/ITxpo for admission to the event.

Are there special rates for attendees to visit the Disney parks?

Are there any speaking opportunities at the event?

There are speaking opportunities available for exhibitors who are sponsoring at the event. If you are interested in sponsoring, you will need to speak with a Gartner sponsor sales representative. Analyst Interaction

How do I sign up for an Analyst One-on-One?

One-on-ones are available exclusively to paid, registered conference attendees and are not available to ITxpo exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand for these appointments, each attendee may reserve up to three one-on-ones during Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2013, each with a different analyst or consultant. Registration for analyst one-on-ones is available through Agenda Builder.

Am I guaranteed the analyst of my choice in my One-on-One meeting?

All registered Symposium/ITxpo attendees have the exclusive opportunity to speak directly with up to three Gartner analysts in private 30-minute one-on-one meetings. Due to the high demand of particular analysts, sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I sign up for an Analyst/User Roundtable?

Analyst-user roundtable sessions are available exclusively to paid, registered conference attendees and are not available to ITxpo exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand and limited availability (up to 12 end users per session), we recommend you register in advance for these unique sessions. Registration for analyst-user roundtables is available through Agenda Builder.

Is there a list of analysts who will be available at the event?

Deliverables

When will I have access to documentation?

A documentation key to access Gartner presentations from Agenda Builder will be provided by early October via email to registered attendees

What is the difference between documentation and the Symposium On Demand Multimedia content?

The documentation includes all Gartner presentations available pre-event. This is available shortly before the event, and registered attendees will be sent this notification via email. The Symposium On Demand multimedia content is included in the conference fee. It includes all sessions as presented on-site synchronized to the audio recordings from the Gartner analyst sessions, keynotes and several solution providers. This content is searchable and includes transcription. The content is delivered online at GartnerEventsOnDemand.com and is available in its entirety about 2 – 3 weeks after the event.
