The on-going management of global sourcing options is one of the most difficult competencies facing IT and business executives today. Through Gartner insight, industry panel discussions, and case study presentations by leading service providers, the Gartner Global Sourcing Invitational Program seeks to provide a forum for the exploration of top-of-mind issues related to global sourcing.

Through this exchange, invited executives will develop the practical tools and knowledge they need to build, validate and maintain their near- and long-term sourcing strategies.

In this intensive 2 and 1/2-day program, running concurrently with the Gartner Outsourcing Summit, invited guest executives will meet face-to-face with sourcing experts and leading service providers from both existing and emerging geographic centers of IT and BPO services around the world. The program's unique format is designed for a meaningful and productive exchange of ideas and strategies on a range of topics, including:

• •How will global sourcing evolve to meet changing market demands?
• •What are the opportunities and risks involved with both existing and new IT and BPO services offered via a global-delivery model
• •Which are the leading offshore service providers and countries/regions for global sourcing, now and over the next five years?

Who Should Attend

The Invitational Program will convene 150 pre-qualified IT and business executives from large and midsized companies who are currently focused on their firm's nearshore and offshore sourcing initiatives and are seeking an open exchange of knowledge and best practices with their peers, the Gartner analyst community, and leading service providers.
