Previous assignments while at Amdahl included building and managing the competitive analysis organization, launching multiple processor and storage series, and defining future processor market requirements. Before serving at Amdahl, Mr. Zaffos held a variety of marketing and technical sales support positions with ITEL/NAS, the forerunner of Hitachi Data Systems, and worked as an engineer and scientific programmer in the aerospace industry.
