Lisa Unden-Farboud is a Research Director in Gartner's IoT and Mobile Research group at Gartner. Her current coverage is focused on Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and she advises end-user organizations, TEM vendors, communication service providers and system integrators/outsourcers in the TEM space. Telecom cost-optimization and ongoing efficiencies are important areas for enterprise communications, especially as it is evolving to encompass other communications areas beyond traditional fixed and mobile. Prior to covering TEM, Lisa focused on enterprise communications services, which incorporate fixed network services and mobile network services, communications service evolution, and carrier strategies. Previously, she managed the process and methodologies associated with the global enterprise communications forecast and was the lead analyst specializing in enterprise network services, access services and carrier strategies and evolution. As an evolution to TEM, Lisa is also developing her coverage in the areas of enterprise mobility such as managed mobility services and mobilizing IoT.
