I am a senior SAP software licensing expert and Senior Director, Analyst with Gartner, specializing in software licensing, pricing and negotiations covering software vendors SAP and Servicenow. My main areas of expertise for SAP are SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Services, SAP Ariba, SAP Digital Access, and SAP BTP (business Technology Platform). For Servicenow I cover primarily ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM and HRSD, contract negotiations, Now Value and the Now Buying program. I hold a Masters with Merit in Design Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (2005) and gained my Practitioner's Certificate in SAP Licensing with the IBSMA in 2018. I have a total of 8 years IT Consulting experience, 5 of which specializing exclusively in SAP licensing and software asset management.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Gartner, I worked as the Practice Director Advisory in the UK for VOQUZ Labs who provide and software asset management tools and related advisory services for SAP end users. Prior to that I worked as Senior Consultant & Global Engagement Manager for JNC Consulting, a boutique advisory firm focusing on SAP license management and negotiations. In my 5 years specializing in SAP licensing, I have delivered over 50 advisory engagements for some of SAP's biggest global customers.
