Arunasree is a Senior Principal in Quantitative Innovation Practice within the Technology & Service Provider research and advisory group. She is responsible for creating and maintaining software forecast models and establishing market predictions on technology segments that inform and advise software vendors and service providers on business opportunities and threats. Arunasree also focuses on quantitative analysis including market sizing and competitive analysis of software markets. Before joining Gartner, Arunasree was associated with IT Market Models and Data Tools team of Informa Tech (Omdia), where she was involved in building forecasts for various IT markets and enterprise verticals; and maintaining and updating IT spend data tools. She was mainly focused on analyzing the ICT market in the areas of market sizing, trend analysis, data modelling, forecasting, vendor analysis and rankings. Arunasree also worked for GlobalData where she provided strategic industry analysis and authored reports identifying key market trends, competitor dynamics, regulations, and innovations.
