Jon has more than 20 years of Information Security and Telecommunications experience spanning the Healthcare, Biotech and Retail sectors. Prior to joining Gartner, Jon was Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure leading infrastructure and Security Operations for The Save Mart Companies, a $5 billion dollar grocery retailer located in Northern California. He started his technology career with healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente with later roles with healthcare organizations Vituity and Ramsell. Additionally, Jon has significant experience with Retail/Supply Chain and Biotech while also working on the Provider side delivering IT Managed Services. He provides a methodical and programmatic approach to Information Security and Telecommunications with a focus on innovation and strategic execution. He has personally led Information Security and Technology teams in startups to large enterprises, focusing on growth and transformation projects aimed at reducing costs, expanding capabilities, differentiation, and increasing revenues while fulfilling a combination of senior leadership, change agent, evangelist and technologist roles. His role-based research dials into both TSP / CSP vendors and End User Enterprise clientele using a customer-centric approach to solve their issues such as: a. Help them understand the latest Security Trends b. Creating compelling Go-To-Market strategies c. Guiding Managed Security Services value creation d. Driving profitable revenue growth e. How to develop InfoSec Managed Security Services Roadmap with growth and innovation Jon also supports Information Security Vendors that sell to TSP /CSP vendors on how to provide high demand security services that solve end user customer issues. Jon brings expertise in information security technology to create value and revenue growth for our clients.
