Andrew Phillips is a Chief of Research focusing on technology product strategy, emerging technology adoption and product positioning. Mr. Phillips provides research and advisory services to large, midsize and emerging technology vendor organizations on managing innovation, product development and product evolution. He focuses on emerging technology, technology viability and IoT hardware. In recent years Mr. Phillips has worked with multiple executive level technology managers worldwide to transform their engagement with Gartner, further benefit from Gartner's Research methodology and increase their return on investment. Mr. Phillips has more than 30 years of high-technology industry experience spanning field applications engineering, sales and distribution, franchise management, managing global technology teams and the semiconductor industry. Based in Beijing, China from 2011 through 2017, he advises Chinese private and state owned enterprise decision makers and Government policy makers. He also advises technology clients on China market entry strategies.
