Roles and Responsibilities
Suzie Low is a Senior Principal Analyst on Quanitative Innovation team with focus on storage technologies. She is responsible for storage market statistics and forecast for Asia/Pacific region and worldwide. Ms. Low works with end-user clients to understand storage market trends, who the market players are and their offerings. For technology and service providers clients, her research focuses on identifying opportunities to help providers expand their businesses. This includes understanding competitive landscape, technology adoption trends and customer buying behaviors. Prior to this, Ms. Low covered server and workstation market trends and forecasts and was the data coordinator for quarterly server and workstation statistics for Asia/Pacific.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Low did research for Datapro on telecommunications industry trends in the Asia/Pacific regulatory environment, as well as on services provided by fixed-line carriers and their marketing strategies. She also did consulting assignments for British Telecom, NEC and NTT. At SingTel Yellow Pages, Ms. Low oversaw the research department and resource library and conducted regular industry surveys, customer satisfaction studies, usage and attitudinal studies, focus groups, readership surveys, data mining, and business intelligence to lead and support local and regional sales and marketing programs.
