Ranjit Atwal is a Research Director in Gartner's Personal Technology team. Mr. Atwal is responsible for managing Gartner's research on forecasting the future usage of devices worldwide in new surrounding environments impacted by AI and VPA technologies. This includes the sequence of adoption of PCs, tablets and mobile phones, as well as VPA-enabled speakers. He is responsible for delivering quarterly updated quantitative worldwide device forecasts, but more importantly presenting the qualitative analysis driving changes to the forecast. He is particularly interested in how changing consumer wants and needs impact future device choices. Mr. Atwal is often quoted in the press in publications such as The Economist.
