Research VP, Analyst Peter Kjeldsen covers Business and Technology Strategy for the Telecommunications Industry, including IP/Optical transport networks, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and other fixed access, mobile backhaul and fixed mobile convergence. Mr. Kjeldsen started his career as an optical research engineer with Tele Danmark's R&D division, during which time he spent half a year with British Telecom.

Mr. Kjeldsen joined Gartner through the acquisition of Dataquest. Prior to joining Dataquest, he worked with Sonofon as a transmission planner and project manager. Mr. Kjeldsen started his career as an optical research engineer with Tele Danmark's R&D division, during which time he spent half a year with British Telecom.
