Don Free leads Gartner's research on all aspects of core banking and bank digital business platforms, including thought leadership on market trends, systems and architecture. His research exposes progressive trends for open banking, banking as a service, architecture, and developing successful core banking strategy. With Gartner for more than 20 years and possessing more than 30 years of core banking experience, Mr. Free commonly advises CIOs, business leaders and architects globally. He has spoken at many high-profile events in more than 80 countries and has led in-house, board-level workshops.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Free was the director of project services at a global financial services technology company. His experience also includes developing business strategies and information technology solutions as well as leading Fortune 500 companies to the banking market.
