Kris Doering is a Research VP in Gartner Research & Advisory, where he is part of the IT Sourcing & Vendor Management group. Mr. Doering currently conducts research associated with IT application service sourcing in all four phases of the sourcing life cycle (strategy, vendor selection, contracting/negotiation and management). In this capacity, he ensures integrated, high-quality analyses across all outsource services, along with the continued development of new research to meet the needs of Gartner clients. His responsibilities include working with clients to resolve sourcing issues in application services, along with developing research to drive improved performance, value and cost optimization.
