Barry Runyon focuses on healthcare provider research, including certain underlying and emerging technologies/initiatives, such as interactive patient care, vendor-neutral archives, legacy decommissioning and enterprise awareness as it relates to the real-time health system (RTHS). Mr. Runyon has 38 years of IT experience, both inside and outside of healthcare. Prior to joining Gartner, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
