Previous Experience
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Beyer led implementation practices and projects for data integration, business intelligence and data management architectures as a direct hire within organizations, an implementation consultant and vendor implementation/project lead. He has experience in leading and participating in teams as small as three-person units to serving as the solution architect. He also served as a project manager of a 12-month, multiphased effort that included 24 professional services consultants and nine internal (client) staff members for a data integration architecture, data warehouse (hub), ODS and spoke-marts. He was a business analyst and power user of data prior to engaging in a more formal IT career. His work included designing and developing surveys, managing survey efforts, conducting labor/resource studies, evaluating service delivery models, and sales and inventory analysis. His industry experience includes USDOE, USDoD, electric utility industry, automotive industry, P&C insurance, professional insurance, healthcare providers, health insurance, consumer packaged goods, grocery, wholesale, and logistics and distribution.
