Mr. Wallin has 36 years of experience in the IT industry, including extensive international experience. He is a frequent speaker at events on mobile and IoT technologies, including their impact on commercial best practices and telecom service providers. Mr. Wallin joined Gartner in April 2005 with the acquisition of Meta Group, where he led the mobile infrastructure research on a global basis. Prior to joining Meta Group in April 2001, Mr. Wallin was vice president of European operations at Surgency (formerly Benchmarking Partners), where he led a research practice on the mobile Internet and helped build European presence. Previously, he was chief technology officer for Industri-Matematik International, a recognized leading supplier of supply chain execution solutions.
