Mr. Maiwald has served as a security administrator and security officer for large enterprises and as a security consultant for clients in healthcare, finance, entertainment, retail, and manufacturing. He led an effort to develop a managed security service offering and then managed the service for clients in various industries. He also served as a product manager in the IT security industry. Mr. Maiwald is the author of three books on security: "Network Security: A Beginner's Guide," "Security Planning and Disaster Recovery" and "Fundamentals of Network Security."
