Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Zeng was the general manager in 21Vianet Group, running China's first cloud service provider business and 21Vianet's enterprise data center business. Mr. Zeng owned the whole product portfolio, resources and took profit & loss (P&L) responsibility for his BU. Before 21Vianet, Mr. Zeng held various leadership positions at Cisco Advanced Service organization in China over a period of 12 years, including being the leader of service delivery leader, product and portfolio management and business development. Mr. Zeng also gained experience at Global One Communication as its infrastructure operations manager, where he led a team of engineers to build China's first internet infrastructure networks. Prior to that, Mr. Zeng held engineering posts, focusing on data center design and IT infrastructure implementation and operation, particularly in the telecommunications and service provider industries.
