At Veritas Software before its acquisition by Symantec, Mr. Zurcher was the Product Line Manager for clustering and then Windows NT products. He next guided SAN management products and standards (via the SNIA), and then he was promoted to Director of Product Management to lead Veritas product line integration. After the Symantec/Veritas merger, Mr. Zurcher led the creation of product line-wide solutions, and created programs that improved release quality across the Symantec product line. Before Veritas, he was a Distributed Computing Consultant to Swiss Bank Corp. While being there, he helped lead the bank's first project to analyze investment data on distributed systems. Prior to that, Mr. Zurcher spent six years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of management and individual contributor roles, and three years at HP in field/sales roles.
