Roles and Responsibilities

Daniel Barros is a Managing Vice President within Gartner's IT Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Management research practice, where he leads a global team of analysts focused on infrastructure and communication services. Previous Experience

Before joining Gartner, Mr. Barros worked as a Senior IT Division Manager for a large Spanish telco in Brazil. In that role, he managed the major infrastructure services contracts. He also worked as the Project Manager for in-sourcing the carrier's largest infrastructure outsourcing contract. Prior to that role, he worked as a Delivery Executive for a large American IT company. He was responsible for the outsourcing contract delivery for several clients. He is also a certified project manager and has a strong technical background in IT infrastructure.
