Previous Experience

Before joining the Data and Analytics team as a Senior Research Analyst, Mr. Zaidi was a Contributing Analyst at Gartner, supporting the BI, analytics and performance management agendas, where his primary tasks were to create, along with Senior Analysts, highly actionable written research for IT leaders. He was responsible for conducting and driving critical research projects, including branded research comprising Market Guides, Hype Cycles, Market Clocks and Survey Analysis. He also supported various Gartner events during his stint as a Contributing Analyst. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Zaidi was Assistant Manager at Oxigen Services, responsible for marketing analytics in the Online Business Department. Prior to that, he was a Business Analyst in the IT Division at Oxigen. During his time at Oxigen, he was responsible for setting up a business analytics division, implementing BI tools across all business units and streamlining the MIS reporting structure to allow the senior management to make data-driven decisions. Before joining Oxigen, Mr. Zaidi was a Software Developer at Laurus Infosystems (formerly Aptuit Laurus), where he worked with leading healthcare and pharmaceutical clients to develop and implement end-to-end ERP and supply chain management solutions leveraging the latest Oracle DBMS platforms, tools and industry best practices.
