Shailendra Upadhyay is a Principal in Gartner Research, where he is part of the Software team based in Gurgaon, India. He is the forecast lead and responsible for creating and maintaining forecast models for information security and risk management market. Shailendra also assists with the annual software market share process for IT operations and security vendors. Mr. Shailendra is responsible for communicating any model-data-related changes to customers, and also any change due to significant events such as the effects of currency, economic downturns, demographic shifts and geopolitical implications.
