Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Marquis held the role of Practice Director at Global Knowledge, where he consulted IT infrastructure and operations leaders on the effects of digital technologies (cloud computing, analytics, social and mobile) on IT operations (processes, workflows, teams and leaders) and its business customers. He was also the Director of Infrastructure and Service Architecture for Lowe's Home Improvement, where he led a successful large-scale DevOps and ITSM effort to reduce time to market and improve time to value through workflow improvements, including optimization of tools, processes, metrics, organizational structure and general computing controls.
