Roles and Responsibilities

I am a Senior Research Director and I currently lead the Learning and Development KI and have been doing so since early 2019. Since joining Gartner (CEB) in 2006 I have held several roles within Research, initially within the IT practice and, for the past 13 years, within the HR practice. I have worked across most areas in the HR practice, and have headed up the Asia HR program, our product offering for heads of Talent Management, as well as various AERs. I have also played the role of checkpoint partner on various AERs across the HR practice.

Background

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Gartner I worked at Oxford Analytica. My role as a Senior Consultant was to analyze worldwide political, economic and public policy developments, and to identify the business implications for high-level decision makers from top-tier multinationals, international organizations and governments worldwide. I was responsible for planning, staffing, budgeting and directing projects and project teams from the proposal stage through to delivery. My main focus was directing a project where my team annually assessed monetary and fiscal transparency and shareholder and creditor rights in 27 emerging markets for a U.S. public pension fund. This involved visiting each country annually and meeting with the central bank, Ministry of Finance and independent organizations before writing an assessment and assigning each country a rating to help the client make sound investment decisions.
