Alexa Bona is a Managing Vice President in Gartner Research, where her research currently focuses on technology procurement. As part of the Sourcing and Vendor Management research practice, Mrs. Bona manages a team covering the impact of new trends, such as IoT, smart machines and cloud, on technology procurement and how this impacts contracting, maintenance and support, and pricing models. She herself looks at how some of the contracting and pricing around cloud computing is evolving. In addition, Mrs. Bona's team advises technology procurement leaders on deal negotiation strategies to help them achieve best-in-class, sustainable and flexible deals with major business application software vendors and SaaS providers, such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday and ServiceNow.
