Ronni Rosenstein is a Managing Vice President in the IT Operations Management group in Gartner Research. Ms. Rosenstein manages a team of analysts who focus on automation tools and technologies in support of IT operations infrastructure and DevOps for both Mode 1 and Mode 2 projects. She was an analyst in Gartner for more than 20 years, with her primary area of research being configuration and release management. Now her team covers these topics as well as a broad array of technology and process topics, including (but not limited to) server provisioning and configuration, configuration assessment and remediation, patch management, and IT process and service orchestration tools. Her team also covers virtualization and cloud management technologies. Ms. Rosenstein added coverage of DevOps to her team with respect to application release automation and infrastructure as code (aka continuous configuration tools).
