David Glenn is a Research Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider Research group, where he is part of the Personal Technologies Growth team focusing on market statistics for the device market. Mr. Glenn currently produces quarterly market share data for the Latin American PC market, and the North American and Japan mobile phone market, and contributes to the team's Devices forecast program. He serves as Vendor Revenue Lead for select device vendors as part of Gartner's Vendor Revenue Profile program. He also conducts in-depth secondary research of Mobile subscriber and financial data for mobile operators in North America, Latin America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Japan and Asia/Pacific.

David Glenn's Recent Gartner Activity
Previously at Gartner, Mr. Glenn maintained databases tracking revenue of leading telecom equipment manufacturers, and subscriber statistics for North American cable operators. He assisted the Gartner Ombudsman's Office in reviewing Quote Requests. He also developed the primary research process for telecom equipment market statistics data collection, and he coordinated most research activities for these projects. From 1993 onward, he personally conducted and managed numerous market statistics projects for the Telecommunications group of Gartner. Mr. Glenn was initially part of the Primary Research team, which conducted user and business market surveys for Gartner and external clients. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Glenn was a service representative for seven years at Pacific Bell and AT&T.
