David Gregory is a VP Analyst in Resilience and BCM in Gartner. He is a Business resilience professional with 45 years of business experience and has worked with a range of clients all over the world. His main area of expertise over the last 20 years has been in enabling organization's to mature their business continuity management solutions to the ISO 22301 standard. David has led the development of the Gartner Maturity Model - IT Score for BCM, developed the Gartner Business Impact Analysis Research and Toolkit and is the lead author for the BCMP Market Guide. Other areas of expertise include business continuity management strategy planning, crisis management, business impact analysis, running business continuity exercises, development of recovery strategies, business interruption and supply chain analysis. David also has extensive management experience having managed teams in the private and public sector.
Mr. Gregory has worked with a wide range of local, regional, national and international organizations, and led projects to enable these organisations achieve ISO 22301 certification. He worked closely at senior level in the following industry sectors: airports, airline manufacturing, automotive and luxury automotive, catering, charities, construction, emergency services, food and beveridge (including breweries, drinks manufacturing, food processing and fruit growing/picking), higher education, hotel and leisure, industrial manufacturing, legal, mining and smelting operations, pharmaceutical, regulatory bodies, technological and utilities.
