Summary

Content life cycle analytics is a technology underpinning of a Pattern-Based Strategy that helps enterprises develop relevant content (e.g., datasheets and webpages) at a lower cost. Correlating content creation costs with content consumption metrics helps companies decide where to invest their content creation time and attention. Content life cycle analytics is not yet available as an integrated product, but the component technologies are. Now is the time for enterprises--especially content-centric ones, such as publishers and online retailers--to start thinking about where content life cycle analytics would make sense in their specific situation.
