Executive leaders' duties have become increasingly interconnected, communal and overlapping, making problem-solving more difficult and increasing time spent in ELT positions rather than functional leadership roles. Executive leaders need a distinct set of skills and abilities to prosper as ELT members of a digital organization, and new executives might need to be hired. In this session, we will look at the skills and abilities required to succeed as an ELT member of the new digital organization.
At work, difficult people exist; they may make everything about themselves, obsess over details and assume you are out to get them. As senior executives' duties become more interrelated, communal and overlapped, they must develop effective strategies for coping with these individuals and the stress they may bring to the firm. In this session, we'll look at how to spot a difficult personality and what to do about it to prevent a disruptive confrontation.
