【Guest Keynote】The Past, Present, and Future as TEPCO Group’s CIO

In this session, I will share what I learned from the system failure that had occurred shortly after my appointment as CIO in April 2016, the changes implemented afterwards, including the reallocation of development responsibilities and the QCD innovation demanded by the regulatory requirements of legal separation of the power transmission/distribution, the result of the 5-year efforts, and my views as Group CIO. I will also discuss the status and challenges of our current efforts to balance between reactive QCD innovation and proactive DX, and our business goals of combining community cloud services and data distribution services. I will conclude with the outlook for carbon neutrality, a new area of challenge.
