In 2020, the onset of our DX journey coincided with the pandemic and the declaration of a state of emergency. We have worked to change the organization from the management level, transform our corporate culture, improve the IT literacy of our employees, foster a digital mindset, and develop our DX talent. There was, however, something missing in our efforts for DX talent development. It was "dialogue and co-creation" for the innovation, the last piece of the puzzle for achieving DX that the pandemic had deprived us of. And, we sought that piece in the Metaverse.

Born in Osaka in 1960. Joined the Kansai Branch of the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) in 1983. Engaged in planning and development of travel products at the JAF Headquarters Travel Service from 1990.
In 1996, proposed and established a member service business utilizing tourist information data and road information when the travel service business was abolished.
Subsequently served as Head of General Affairs Division, Head of Kyoto Branch, Head of General Affairs Department of Kansai Branch, Head of Road Service Department of Headquarters, and Head of Internal Audit Department.
As Head of Internal Audit Department in 2018, achieved complete paperlessization of internal audit operations for Headquarters and all branches. Appointed as Head of System Department in 2019. Reorganized the System Department into the DX Promotion Headquarters in 2020. Appointed as Director in 2021, working to promote DX throughout the company.
