In 1992, he joined DKIS (now Mizuho RT). For the first 15 years, he worked for DKIS, NCR, and EMC, providing system and infrastructure development and pre sales services to financial institutions, government sectors, and foreign companies in the position of Area General Manager. For the next 15 years, he served as CTO at a SoftBank subsidiary and a start up company. At the start up company, he developed a platform fusing IoT and AI. Immediately prior to joining Gartner, he was the executive officer in charge of IT (CIO, CTO, CDO) at NICHIGAS Corporation, where he led the maintenance of existing IT, modernization, and DX initiatives, and developed business strategies, including segmentation of IT areas. He has been involved in logistics/distribution DX, sales/sales office DX, system DX, etc., and has received DX brand for 7 consecutive years from METI, DX Grand Prix, Best DX Award, and other awards. During the DX initiative, he was involved in the production of automatic gas meterreading equipment, and his technical scope covers a wide range of hardware as well as software and cloud computing. He has also contributed to standardization organizations such as W3C.
