Emma is currently the Acting General Manager of Cyber Identity & Protection Management in CBA’s Cyber division, accountable for the management of security controls designed to protect and minimise security risks to the Group. Emma has had a 20 year career in various roles across Cyber and IT, including 12 years on IT & Cyber leadership teams. She commenced her career at the Reserve Bank of Australia, which included 3 years as their Head of IT Security and 7 years as the IT Leader responsible for the RBA’s corporate services and enterprise functions before moving to CBA in 2020. Before commencing in her current role, she was leading the Cyber Resilience and Recovery function within CBA.
Emma has a Bsc (Computer Science) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has been a non-Executive Director for a not-for-profit health insurance fund since 2014.
