CISO Circle Roundtable: Building a Resilient, Sustainable Security Operating Model

Delivering effective security for your organisation over the long-term is a complex challenge. Threats spike and fade, regulation increases, technology is in constant flux, and the organisation shifts and warps around you. Richard Johnson, Group Chief Information Security Officer at Westpac for 14 years, has a lot of experience with persistence and adaptability. In this closed session, he shares his personal insights around ways to deliver ongoing effective security in dynamic environments. These include:
• Building credibility with the board and executive team for the security program;
• The power of collaboration within your organisation and with your peers; and
• Improving the security of your organisations' habits and processes, not just its technology.
