Sean is a public sector executive with extensive experience in leading complex cyber security
initiatives and the delivery of strategic ICT reforms. As the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer
for the Department of Home Affairs, Sean is responsible for the leadership and development of the
Department’s cyber security policy, strategy and frameworks, including cyber security operations
and regulatory compliance activities.
Sean’s focus is to protect Home Affairs information and operations, while securely enabling business
change in a high tempo environment.
Prior to joining Home Affairs, Sean held a number of leadership positions within the National
Intelligence Community.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science and post graduate qualifications in Network Engineering.
