Megumi Avigail Yoshitomi is an analyst at an Europe-based investment bank. She is also the PR manager of Japan Association for Cellular-Agriculture hosted by the Center for Rule-making Strategies, Tama University, an industrial organization comprised of over 70 domestic and overseas companies, NPOs, and other organizations, to create rules for cell-based food products, such as cultured meat, egg, and milk, to make them sellable in Japan. The association is also an official Cellular-Agriculture working group of Food-tech study group, organized by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. She has been awarded the “30 under 30 Japan” award for 2020 by Forbes Japan.
