In recent years there has been increasing focus on the importance of innovation in cybersecurity. However, the reality is that there are many challenges that make innovation difficult. There have been some advances in using AI-related technologies, but such technology can be inexact and ambiguous -- qualities that are fatal flaws in cybersecurity. As a result, debate over the appropriate use of AI in cybersecurity is still at an early stage. Given this, what kind of innovations are possible in cybersecurity, and how can they be developed and achieved? This session will discuss these processes, while delving into different case studies.
