  • Through 2022, at least two large multichannel retailers will replace 10% of store associates with nonhuman resources.
  • By 2022, all of the top 10 retailers will operate at least one showroom-style store in one or more major markets, keeping no inventory in store.
  • By 2022, at least two large U.S. retailers will be directly connected through the IoT to one or more car companies to enable ordering and payment for goods and services.
  • By 2020, at least three of the world's top retailers will have implemented blockchain technology for transparency in the supply chain.
