Shri Amal Krishna is Chief General Manager heading the IT & Digital group in ONGC. He is B Tech from NIT Patna with more than 32 years of experience working in various units of ONGC right from communication to SCADA to IT. He has diversified hands-on technical knowledge ranging from router configuration to software development. He has been a part of team which has done many pioneering initiatives of ONGC such as largest SAP implementation in 2003-04, paperless implementation in 2017-18 etc.
In his current position, he has been spearheading the IT & Digital initiatives of ONGC identifying 60+ relevant initiatives that ONGC is on the path of implementing to harness the true power of Digital Transformation. He deeply believes that the power of Digital Transformation is not in implementing technologies rather moulding the organisational culture to imbibe such technologies.
