Hirofumi Suzuki was appointed President and Representative Director on April 1, 2020 and is responsible for the overall business of SAP Japan. He joined SAP Japan in January 2015 as Vice President of Consumer Industry Division, and from January 2018 as a Managing Executive Officer, was responsible for all industries and major businesses in the Japanese market and has focused on supporting digital transformation of Japanese companies.
After joining IBM Japan, Ltd. in April 1990, Suzuki was mainly in charge of planning, sales, and marketing of SCM related solutions for retail and manufacturing industries. In August 2000, he joined i2 Technologies Japan Co., Ltd. and held important positions such as Alliance Sales Executive and Sales Director.
In July 2006, Suzuki joined JDA Software Japan Co., Ltd. and after holding Sales Director position, he became President and CEO in February 2010. From May 2012, he served as Vice President of Asia Pacific Region of JDA Software Inc., where he managed Asia Pacific region including Japan. In April 2013, he joined IBM Japan, Ltd., where he led the company's growth strategy as a Director of Smarter Commerce business.
