Borned in 1978, Javier Hernández Díez is computer engineer since 2001, and civil servant in federal IT corps since 2006, where his experience has focused mainly on the development of several of the common federal IT services in Spain. He is currently the Deputy Director General for the Promotion and Innovation of Digital Justice Services of the Ministry of Justice of Spain. He’s collaborating in the digital transformation of Justice, in matters such as data governance, user experience, and interoperability, among many others. He is also the Head of the Central Authority for Criminal Records of Spain. Before that, he’s been the CIO at the Ministry of the Presidency of Spain.
