Stuart Warner

Head of Technology
In his role as Head of Technology, Stuart is responsible for all global aspects of Technology, Digital, Cybersecurity and Innovation. This includes the development and support of business applications that underpin the business revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions. He also leads on global digital initiatives to improve customer experiences across all our financial offerings. During his time at Fidelity, Stuart has led two of the largest transformation programmes, the introduction of new Trading and Research platforms for Investment Management and more recently the re-platforming of Fidelity’s UK retail business. Prior to joining Fidelity, Stuart was a VP at JP Morgan Chase’s Investment Bank. During his eight years at JP Morgan, he was responsible for technology supporting the front and middle office within the Rates business which involved setting up the near-shore development centre in Houston Texas. He also led the largest merger of derivatives positions at the time following the merger of Chase Manhattan and JP Morgan. Stuart received his Batchelor of Honours degree in Physics and Computing at the University of Kent in 1993, and speaks regularly on technology, innovation, the pace of change and digitalization in the modern workplace. He is a keen skier and golfer and spends as much time with his family and two young boys as he can.
