What methods can I use to pay?

You may pay with a Gartner marketing conference ticket, credit card or invoice with PO number. Payment must be made prior to the conference or it will be collected upon entrance to the conference.

 

What is the cost to attend?

What are the conference hours?

Gartner Customer Experience & Technologies Summit will officially begin Monday, 8 June at 7:45 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 June.  

Preconference workshops will be held Sunday, 7 June, 1:00 - 5:15 p.m. and are included with your registration but require preregistration via Gartner Conference Navigator.

 

When can I pick up my badge at the registration counter?

Registration will be open the following dates and times:

Monday, 8 June 2020: 7:45 a.m.

Tuesday, 9 June 2020: 7:45 a.m.

Are there any speaking opportunities at the conference?

Speaking opportunities are available for conference exhibitors. If you are interested in exhibiting, you will need to speak with a Gartner exhibitor sales representative. If you know who the representative is for your space, please reach out to them directly. If you are not aware of the representative for that space, call +44 1784 267 456 or email exhibit@gartner.com.

 

What if I am interested in exhibiting at the conference?

Are there any speaking opportunities at the conference?

Opportunities to present are generally available at the Gartner conferences. Please fill out the form here and a representative of Gartner conferences will contact you.

How do I sign up for a Gartner one-on-one?

One-on-ones are available exclusively to paid registered full conference attendees and are not available to exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand for these appointments, each attendee may reserve one 30-minute one-on-one with a Gartner expert. Preregistration for one-on-ones and small sessions are available through Gartner Conference Navigator.

 

Am I guaranteed the expert of my choice in my one-on-one meeting?

All registered attendees have the exclusive opportunity to speak directly with one Gartner expert in a private 30-minute one-on-one meeting. Due to the high demand for particular experts, sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

How do I sign up for roundtables, workshops and other sessions requiring preregistration?

Interactive sessions such as roundtables, workshops, and meetups are available exclusively to paid registered conference attendees and are not available to exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand and limited availability (up to 12 marketers per session), we recommend you register in advance for these unique sessions. Preregistration is available through Gartner Conference Navigator, our online agenda-building tool.

 

Is there a list of Gartner experts who will be available at the conference?

Yes, we will have a Gartner expert guide with the list of our experts and the key areas with which they can assist clients. Please check back for the guide.

 

Are there any restrictions around Gartner one-on-ones?

One-on-ones are not available for vendor briefings or product demonstrations with experts. The expert reserves the right to stop the meeting if this situation occurs. Clients interested in briefing analysts may contact the Vendor Relations department by emailing vendor.briefings@gartner.com to schedule a meeting following the conference.

How do I register for the conference?

What if I’m having trouble logging into my gartner.com account?

Resetting your credentials can be done online. Please follow the links and instructions on the login page.

 

Where is Gartner offering special hotel room rates?

As a conference attendee, you have exclusive access to special hotel room rates at these hotels when you book through Gartner. Special rates will become available closer to the time of the 2020 conference. Please check the venue page for full details.

Availability at the special hotel room rate is limited, and we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible.

 

How do I make a hotel reservation?

You’ll need to register for the conference before you can book your hotel room. Hotel reservations can then be made by signing into your conference registration profile and selecting “Book Hotel.” You can also contact the Gartner Conferences team for assistance at +44 (0) 20 3868 5238.

Reservations must be made individually and only by registered attendees. Provisional reservations are not permitted. If you are attending as a team and would like to stay together, please email the Gartner Conferences team for additional information.

Please note that reservations at the special Gartner rate can’t be made directly with the hotel. Calls to the hotel will be redirected to the Gartner Conferences team. 

 

Is a minimum night stay required?

A two-night minimum stay is required.

 

I received a phone call from someone saying they can offer me a room at a lower rate or at a different hotel. Is this a scam?

Gartner Conferences will always provide notice to attendees and exhibitors when using a third-party provider, such as George P. Johnson (GPJ), as part of the conference administration. Please note: Many of our exhibitors and delegates have been contacted by an organization called Exhibitors Housing Management (EHS) that claims to be affiliated with Gartner. This is a scam and Gartner is in no way affiliated with EHS. If you have registered as an attendee or exhibitor for a Gartner conference and you receive an email from a third-party provider claiming to be contacting you on behalf of Gartner Conferences, please contact the Gartner Conferences team at +44 (0) 20 3868 5238 to verify the third-party provider prior to responding. 

 

How do I get to the conference if I am at an off-site property?

The venue is a short walk from the preferred hotels. Alternatively, you can get local taxis.  

 

What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Please check directly with the hotel once you have booked your accomodation. 

Please note: If you cancel your conference registration you will need to cancel your hotel reservation separately.

When will I have access to documentation?

Registered attendees will be informed via email as conference documentation becomes available on Gartner Conference Navigator. This email will include step-by-step instructions to access presentations and select audio-recorded sessions.

What should I do as a first-time attendee?

  • Before you arrive, build your agenda using Gartner Conference Navigator (on your desktop or via our mobile app).
  • Make sure your profile is complete in order to get the best from our profile match feature. Share information about your interests and priorities to discover the sessions that are the best-fit for you.
  • Be sure to register in advance for any roundtables, Gartner one-on-one meetings or workshops you’d like to attend. We also have networking breakfasts and breaks running throughout the conference to help you expand your network.
  • If you need a hand getting started, contact the Conference Concierge Team for assistance. They can create an agenda based on your priorities, recommend exhibitors to connect with and even schedule your Gartner one-on-one Meeting.
  • Join us on the Exhibit Showcase during daily receptions so you can meet with the technology leaders in the space and find the solutions you need.

 

What is the Gartner Conference app and do I need to download it?

Gartner Conference Navigator is our mobile app (available on Android and iOs) that makes it easy for you to navigate and build your personal agenda. Download from your app store, sign in with your log in details and you’ll be good to go. Don’t forget to opt-in to receive push notifications while with us to keep informed of the latest conference updates.

 

 Is my attendance limited if I am not currently a Gartner Research client?

Absolutely not! As long as you have fully paid your registration fee, you have access to all conference activities open to you along with Gartner session documentation. If you’re interested in becoming a Gartner client, you can visit the Gartner Zone to better understand the benefits you’ll receive.

 

Are there limited seating sessions that I need to sign up for?

Yes, you will need to sign up in advance for some sessions like workshops, Meetups and roundtables. If you try to register for a session and it is listed as “full” or “closed,” there is still a possibility you can attend. Once at the conference, find the room for that session and arrive there about 15 minutes prior to the session start to have your name added to the waiting list. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bookings open for these sessions for alumni on 27 April 2020 and for the general public on 11 May 2020.  

 

What should I wear?

We suggest comfortable shoes — you’ll be doing a lot of walking from your hotel room to the conference space, from session to session and navigating the Exhibit Showcase. Business casual dress is what most attendees opt for, but we also recommend that you dress in layers as the conference rooms can get chilly.

Are there any executive leadership tracks/sessions available at the conference?

Yes, there is an exclusive Senior Leadership Circle available at the conference. Attendance requires application, attendees can apply to the Gartner Senior Leadership Circle as part of the registration process. All qualified registrants will be considered and will be granted confirmation based upon qualifications defined below and space availability. The program has limited capacity to facility the interactive, collaborative content.

  • Applicant must have CX leadership responsibilities for a business unit or division.
  • Applicant must not report in to any higher CX executive.
  • The applicant is not employed by an organization that provides products or services to Cx professionals.
