VP of Interoperability
Edward Sverdlin creates value and impacts people’s lives by using technology. He loves identifying and applying emerging technologies to current challenges in healthcare. Currently a VP of Interoperability @ Optum, Edward focuses on identifying and implementing business opportunities opened up by Healthcare Interoperability Regulation.
Over his career, Ed has worked in technology and in business as an executive and in the trenches: learning technology delivery, operations management, product innovation and business development. Some of Edward’s accomplishments include pioneering the use of Graph technologies at UnitedHealth Group, implementing a cloud-based provider management platform while managing Dental Network operations and creating peak season readiness methodology for UHG. Prior to UHG Edward worked for ING, Deloitte Consulting and Accenture. Ed holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.
